Raag - Gandhari

This raag is very close to Jaunpuri. Many singers consider this raag same as Devgandhar, however there is a subtle difference between two. In Gandhari both the rishabhs are used, Sometimes only one Rishabh is used and both the Dhaivats are used.

Time - Second half of the morning.

Aaroh - सा रे म प ध॒ नी॒ सां।
Avroh - सां नी॒ ध॒ नी॒ ध॒ प म ग॒ रे॒ सां।
pakad - रे म प ध॒ प नी॒ ध॒ सा नी॒ ध॒ प। ( ़ this indicates that it is a lower octave (मंद्र सप्तक)
