Raag - Sakh Lachchha

Amir Khusru is said to have introduced this raag. Some consider this to be a form of Bilawal since Bilawal anga is very prominent in Avroha.Sarparda Bilawal and Shukla Bilawal are very close to this raag. In order to differenciate this raag from Sarparda Bilawal and Shukla Bilawal the raag swaroop is kept vakra.

pakad - प, म ग, म, म नी॒ ध प, म ग म रे सा। ( ़ this indicates that it is a lower octave (मंद्र सप्तक)

Raag - Sakh Dev

This raag is also called Deshakya, Devsaag or Deshakh. Inspite of being a Kanada ang raag, this is sung in the afternoon. In this raag an andolan on Gandhar and a nyas on Madhyam is extremely necessary.

This raag is very close to Gaud Malhar and Yaman. The Group सां sounds like Maand and रे,नी़़ रे सा sounds like Yaman.
